Professional Experience   Founder and president of a global management consulting firm serving communications, information, Internet and entertainment companies, with special focus on advising CEOs, presidents and senior management teams on strategic business, technology, policy and operational issues. Since 1981, advised on over $200 billion of communications deals, including the merger of Bell Atlantic and NYNEX and AT&T and McCaw Cellular Communications; Senior Mentor, Henry Crown Fellowship Program, The Aspen Institute, Eisenhower Fellow in Telecommunications.

Government Service   One of the founders of the National Telecommunications and Information Administration in Washington, DC, the Executive Branch agency in the United States responsible for long-range communications policy planning. Served as special assistant to President Carter's principal communications policy adviser (1978-81); liaison responsibilities with the White House, FCC, Department of Justice, other government agencies, the private sector, academic and research institutions and the press
